  • What types of services do you offer?

Editing, proofreading, rewriting, transcription, and ghostwriting. 

  • How much will it cost?

My fee for editing your document is based on the amount of time involved. My base rate for editorial services is $50 per hour. The first page of your multipage document will be edited at no cost to you so that you can view a sample of my work (and so that I can provide you with an accurate estimate of the total fee).

  • Do you accept credit cards?

Yes. Payment is due in advance via PayPal. For convenience, my established clients prefer to make a single monthly or bimonthly prepayment rather than paying for each document separately.

  • How do I get started?

Send me your document as an email attachment and I will reply within two or three hours unless I'm on vacation (rare) or asleep (between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Central Time).

  • How fast do you work?

Short editing jobs can usually be completed by the end of the business day. Longer editing projects or heavy rewrites will take longer, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

  • Do you write business plans, grant proposals, or student papers?

No, but I'm happy to edit any of the above!
