About Executive Rewrites
If you're reading this, you're probably wondering who I am and how I got into the writing and editing business. I'm Janet Tilden ("The Rewrite Lady"), owner of Executive Rewrites. My business is based in Omaha, Nebraska, but my client base is global. Thanks to the Internet, I'm able to help people all over the world communicate more effectively in English.
Realizing that business people everywhere needed fast, reliable editing help, I founded Executive Rewrites in 1998 to offer editorial services to Internet users. In addition to writing and rewriting letters, brochures, email messages, memos, books, and web pages for business clients, I've edited dozens of college-level textbooks for major publishers such as HarperCollins, Brooks/Cole, Wadsworth, Allyn & Bacon, Heinemann, Houghton Mifflin, and McGraw-Hill.
Reading is one of my passions. I'm a lifelong bookworm with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Phi Beta Kappa) from Carleton College. Another of my passions is handwriting analysis. It's a great way to learn more about yourself and others. I'm a Master Graphoanalyst (click here for more information on this topic) and a Life Member of the International Graphoanalysis Society (IGAS). I enjoy giving presentations, having attained ATM-Silver status in Toastmasters International.
